Why I can't Upload Higher Resolution Versions of My Art
Thanks to everyone who has sent such kind messages since I joined yesterday. Sadly, i cannot post higher-rez versions of my art, as certain nefarious types download them, make prints, and sell them on eBay and the like without permission from me or the copyright holders.
So, it's the "A Few Rotten Apples" excuse.
Also, thanks to everyone for the kind words about my damaged hand.
Sincerely,
-AH!
Or you could just dumb-down the dpi on the image to make it unprintable.
*hugs*
just a suggestion!
See you at Fallcon, I suppose?
And Wonder Woman! She's the one who you got me hooked on, friend! Your WW is what made superheroes come to life in fiction for me.
Welcome!
I'm speechless...really. I hope I can meet you one day.
What I would do: Upload a very small resolution image without watermark or anything, just so the image is visible once, even if only very tiny. And then upload a larger resolution version of only part of that image, e.g. the image with a VERY broad white stripe over it. That way no-one will be able to retouch your art and sell it, but those of us interested in your technique would still be able to see examples of it in part of your art.
Maybe.
Anyway, I'm surprised and glad that you joined DA, and I sure hope that you will share with us some thoughts and insights into your life and workshop.
All the best!
Manfred
Oh well. I'll take Hughes any way I can!
