Excellent work! I love how you can have subtle shading and then an art-nouveau, design-heavy line... perfect balance of realism and design.
Incidentally, how do you stand on other DA community posting their own studies after your works with credit back to the source? I've done a study after this drawing which I'm quite proud of, but naturally I don't want to steal any of your credit or step on any toes, of course... as an artist, I have to be careful not to diminish or steal from another artist... And I would like you to see too, of course
I love her expression, and the lines of her eyes and mouth- as well as the layered colored strokes on her face, really beautiful detailed work- glad we can see a close up instead of a full on. Zatanna has always been a favorite of mine since I was a kid Thanks for sharing
Don't know why but I really like this piece. I like the light and shading in it, the character's expression, and the "sketchy" look of it. I wish I could build up the kind of confidence it takes to put copic markers on top of my pencils. I'll stick with PS for the time being. Kudos to you.
