Here's some different stuff: a two-page Wonder Woman origin story which appeared as a backup in their maxiseries 52. Story by Mark Waid, pencils and inks by me and colors by Laura Martin, under my direction.

I did this (and the Powergirl origin) to try to shake the storytelling rust off while getting ready for drawing ALL-STAR WONDER WOMAN (my current miniseries project).

I think it's decent work, and it was fun drawing Diana's origin. I think I MAY be the first artist in DC's history to get away with drawing Wonder Woman's nipples (the baby shot on panel 4 of page 1) in one of their comics.

It has such a strong feel of a living Themyscira. It is amazing how well -and seemingly effortlessly- you balance grace and power in your work!

I love the final panel of her looking out to the horizon all majestic-like, very nice. Seriously, this is beautiful work (not shocking since is is you xD)

Also, kudos on the nips xD

There's a very Mucha-esque-ness going on here that I like very much.
With each panel you've gone into such detail with the depth, angle her surroundings and I love the whole thing :D

Incredible art as always AH... As for your story telling you're doing a great job! You have magnificent depth of field, solid leading lines and a great "Z" flow throughout both pages.. You've left plenty of room for words and it doesn't look crowded or cluttered. I'm already eager to buy!!

Thanks for sharing.. I'm a big fan!!

Diana and Clark have a whole lot in common with their origins.
