This one was allllll WORK. Thanks to Alex Ross andf his brilliant design for Diana's KINGDOM COME armor.
The cover depicts Diana leading a charge of parademons from Apokolips into battle.
This piece shows one of the basics of composition and color theory, I think.... whatever your key element is, the one thing that is THE most important part of your piece, it can help you figure out what the hell to do with the rest of the piece. Since Alex's armor is bright and golden, I figgered that the parademons should be dark, purple, and flat.
Haha, good thing I have favorited pretty much everything you have put up today. But this one is absolutely stunning. I love the composition, as well as the colors. As you mentioned, the contrast between her and the purple demon things are fantastic. I love pretty much everything about this.

Again, just amazing. Thanks for the insight into your process here. Having the parademons in mostly cool colors really brings Wonder Woman out. But the pink eyes on the demons keeps them from getting completely lost in the shadows. If everything in the drawing was as bright and colorful as Wonder Woman, then it would just turn into a confusing mess. Excellent work!
