Wonder Woman cover for DC Comics.

I really fun one. I like doing these iconic heroes in moments of pure humanity; I think they feel slightly more accesible. There's just some things even Superman has no power over.

This is one of my favorite renderings of Wonder Woman that I did; I wish they could've all looked like this one. Also, I like drawing WW smiling. I think her natural state is one of joy and happiness. I never had as much fun drawing her with expressions of rage or anguish.

Then they both realize they're too good for him and get married. This is great.

Apparently, the comic book world has changed drastically to where Superman and Wonder Woman are an item? When did this happen?!

I also like WW's pose and smile in this picture. I think it is my favorite that I have ever seen. It's very natural which makes it very beautiful.

It's not that drastic a change.

Fascinating! Its strange seeing the two wemon of superman's life in the same scene. When Clark is with Lois Lane you forget all about his future love interest and possibly even his wife Wonder Woman, and when he is all grown up and doing his super hero thing on a regular basis like its just another day at work, and is totally in love with Wonder Woman, you forget all about his first love Lois Lane. Very interesting picture Mr. Hughes, thanks for making it and sharing it with us!

Lois Lane was NOT his first love (that was Lana Lang), she is his last. His WIFE. Clark/Superman and Lois Lane got married (finally) in 1996, and have been happily married since. But DC decided it would be fun to pretend that never happened with the new 52 in 2011. Wonder Woman does not represent Clark's future as a grown up; his current relationship with her is part of an alternate universe, which diverges from the main one. Lois and Clark's essentially 73 year relationship should never be forgotten.

Sorry, it just pisses me off that they threw away the marriage I grew up with.
