It tends to get annoying, yes. Especially when someone ELSE takes you to task for doing preventative disclaimers, saying "You don't have to spell it out, you know", because responding to THAT becomes tedious. It's why I stopped frequenting message boards and forums for stuff I liked. I found that if I was brief, people frequently took what I said out of context. If I took the time to explain myself, to prevent that from happening, some OTHER joker would chime in with "Geez; can we get the Reader's Digest version of that?" I decided that to stay on such forums requires either a stony heart or a love of confrontation, neither of which I possess in abundance.
I just finished Tomb Raider Underworld, so this is a nice addition. Had you ever done any cover art for 'Ghost'? she was my fav' character & your style is very similar to the cover art I remember, if you didn't maybe you'd be tempted to have a go as i'm sure your style would be perfect!
Ah excuse my ignorance, hope no offense was taken! i'm a fan of Mucha art and Ghost was something that was drawn in that same beautiful way. I'm sure all your hardcore fans would hang me from a tree for not knowing! lol All your art is excellent and i'll sure become a fan now - all my comic book history is inherited from my dad and his Captain Britain collection, which was excellent by the way, but you prob' know all about it, & i've only recently started immersing myself in more modern work - there's so much. I'm going to try my hand at some Captain Britain art - I did 'The Fury' and it's in my gallery so you can punish me for not knowing you were the artist on Ghost by leaving a biting remark in my gallery! lol Thank you for replying and putting me right
Did not buy the comic - - no shops nearby and I'm not in the habit of buying comics just for the cover (I've no idea who did the insides), I'm not a fan of Lara Croft, or video games in general -- but this is one stunning cover and had I seen it on sale, I think me and a few dollars would have parted company...
