Client: DC Comics Media: Strathmore Drawing paper, pencil, PITT pen, Adobe Photoshop for colors
A just-complete variant cover for an upcoming issue of DC Comics' TEEN TITANS. I'm not even sure what the issue number is! It was fun drawing Raven up close, and Wonder Girl is always a treat.
This is one of my favorite covers of all time (it's Teen Titans #88 by the way, for anyone who's wondering). The poses, the expressions, hell even the difference in build is all just perfect. The effect on Raven's cloak is just gorgeous.
As an aspiring comic artist, I have to say, you set the bar ridiculously high.
thanks for all your hard work, I've been in your page like a hundred times, but never said anything. Never had to. But this raven *hummmmmmmmmmf!*, I couldn't let it pass.
So, shortly, this is my small contribution for your ego. Enjoy! :}
now I know what bugs me.... just how big is something like this?? There is the other issue, too, I don't expect you to tell me your secrets- but if this is in pencil and ink- how is that demarcated, for the colors in PS?

This person posted it as well ;O; but as the actual comic cover.
