Going through some old hard drives, I found a few JPEGs for some old art.
This piece was done for the Art Show of STAR WARS Celebrations III in 2005. I was trying to go for that Sunday newspaper strip feel. This was the first STAR WARS piece I'd drawn since the mid-90s; I was pretty nervous and I think it shows a little. Still, it's a fun piece.
When a friend asked what the contraband in hand actually WAS, we came to the conclusion that it must be Wookiee Chow; Chewbacca appears to be gnawing on the crate.
***Update***
After Googling "companion cubes', I now know what everyone is asking. No, they are not companion cubes; those are storage crates from the original STAR WARS films.
I was gonna say... "This looks familiar!"

Could hang on the Falcons Windshield, or just be for Chewie to chew on...
