This was a nightmare, done before the other Indy card.

It was a ';puzzle card'; an original piece of art meant to by physically cut up and inserted into 6 random packs of INDY cards. Kinda like the map at the beginning of RAIDERS.

This was the first assignment I tried to do after 3 months off due to my injured hand. It was like taking a hill in the Korean War. My hand hurt the whole time, and I was rusty as HELL. Never allow yourself to get 3 months out-of-practice.

Consequently, the likenesses suffer a bit. I was focusing so much on just getting it DONE, I was unable to make Marion or Mutt look right. I was kinda happy with the design of the piece...

This was done on paper with colored pencil, Copic marker, and whatever else I had laying around....

I love Indiana Jones, and I love your work! As an artist I understand your own frustration about making certain aspects "just right". However, I assure you, this is a wonderful work of art. It is honestly my favorite piece!

Thanks for noticing! When I put the birds in, I added the bats to the other side for a little avian balance! :-)
