Here's a bunch of my Indiana Jones sketch cards. All done on blank 2.5" X 3.5" cards, with Pitt pens and Copic markers. A lot of fun! I wish I'd scanned these in the order I drew them; you can see how I started out crummy but got better with practice.

Only a few artists can make Indy really look like Harrison Ford. You could count'em on one hand. Even if you have one or two fingers missing!

And I can only think of you and Drew now.

Your self-analyses are comforting to those of us who have...different...results when putting pen to paper.

one question: did you draw any sketch cards for the Indiana Jones Masterpieces line? Beyond the base cards and the etched ones...I see that these are from the "Heritage" cards? -- were they the only series you did sketches for?

Yes, I only worked on the Heritage and Indy 4 card sets. I had nothing to do with the Masterpieces set.

I must confess - in the back of my mind (while I was plunking down more cash than expected for many more packs than I expected), I was longing for that familiar "AH!" signature.

...well, it was worth it anyway, they are beautiful cards.

...and I agree with those who see you as a powerhouse, nouveau "Mucha"...

p.s. - I've ordered the "IJ Adventures" just to see WHAT happens in "Sweden, 1930". Thanks for writing!
