This is a fun variation.

When I was doing the flames on the Black Queen litho, I had the background on one Layer, Jean on a second, and I was doing the flame highlights on a third.

For no good reason, I turned the Jean Grey Layer invisible, and was interested to see that the highlights still described her shape. I filled in the Jean Grey Layer with black, and it made for a really neat-looking silhouette.

Sideshow liked it, and used it as a teaser image. I'm including it as a neat little oddity.

This has such a dynamic pose--that despite the silhouette--you can tell so much about the character. I love the lighting too!

Hi. I cannot impart any usage rights to this, because it's technically the property of Marvel Comics (which is now owned by Disney), and I did the piece, under licenese, for Sideshow Collectibles.
You'd have to get permission from either of them.
