I dunno, I just to think about what sort of compositions will A) get people to notice the cover on the stands and 2) create some sort of intrinsic unity - meaning: what works best to get the idea across?
True, the thing is I notice what is good compositionally but when it comes to creating my own, sometimes I don't seem to make that connection. I suppose its because I don't feel like, artistically, I should make major corrections when it comes to what I've already produced, but I know that way of thinking is not good. I shall endeavor to try and get the idea across as you have imparted. Thanks man! Not only a great artist, but a great influence!
Cheers for the quick replies! It's so nice to be in contact with an artist of such high calibre. Living in Western Australia the contact is very minimal and usually very homegrown -though that doesn't mean it's bad, quite the opposite- but when ya dream of getting into the industry one day it's nice to be in contact with someone who actually is. The Question, hmm I'm gonna have to look her/it up. Thanks!
